Having travelled to Guatemala over a number of years i have been fortunate to come upon several funerals…. always getting out of my car and spending hours in the community , and walking alongside them as they made their procession through town where the community gathered to say goodbye…. it was often several hours of rituals, right up until the gates of their burial ground, where they finally laid the body to rest
